4. Health Services Provided by LCF
Introduction:
The Life Changing Foundation (LCF) is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of underserved communities through its Health Services program. This report highlights the initiatives undertaken by LCF in organizing health camps aimed at diagnosing general diseases, distributing free medicines, and conducting pure audiometry tests in collaboration with partner organizations.
Health Camps Overview
In the reporting period, LCF organized a total of four health camps, focusing on different aspects of healthcare:
General Disease Diagnosis and Free Medicines Distribution:
- LCF organized two health camps in partnership with the Pakistan Peoples Health Initiative (PPHI) Sindh.
- A total of 202 patients were treated during these camps, comprising 33 male patients, 130 female patients, and 39 children.
- The camps provided diagnosis and treatment for common ailments, along with the distribution of free medicines to patients in need.
Pure Audiometry Tests:
- LCF conducted two health camps in collaboration with NOWPDP to provide pure audiometry tests.
- A total of 54 individuals with hearing problems were screened during these camps.
- Among the screened individuals, 51 were male, and 44 were female.
Collaboration with Partners:
LCF acknowledges and appreciates the support extended by partner organizations, including PPHI Sindh and NOWPDP, in organizing and conducting these health camps. Their collaboration has been instrumental in reaching out to communities in need and providing essential healthcare services.
Impact and Outcomes:
